Clutch: Service and Repair
1. Remove transaxle as described under ``Transaxle, Replace.''
2. Mark relationship of clutch assembly and flywheel for proper installation.
3. Remove clutch assembly by gradually loosening and then removing six bolts.
4. If flywheel was removed, torque mounting bolts to 61 ft.lbs.
5. Ensure that clutch and flywheel surfaces are clean and align marks made during disassembly.
6. With protruding part of disc hub facing away from flywheel, loosely attach clutch assembly on flywheel.
7. Using tool A 70210 or equivalent, center disc in pressure plate.
8. Gradually torque mounting bolts to 28 ft.lbs., then remove tool.
9. Lightly coat transaxle shaft with suitable lubricant, then install transaxle.
