Installation
1. Tighten upper shock absorber to spindle attaching nut to specifications.
2. Connect brake hose to wheel cylinder, securing with plate and screw.
3. Attach control arm to body over two studs protruding through plate and tighten nuts finger tight.
4. Attach rubber pads used to anchor leaf spring.
5. Attach bar of brake pressure regulator to right control arm.
6. Slip bottom rubber bushing on top stud of shock absorber, then place suitable jack under suspension and lift whole assembly so that top stud of shock absorber enters body.
7. Mount top rubber bushing, retaining cap and self locking nut on top stud of shock absorber.
8. Using suitable tool to lock top stud of shock absorber, tighten nut.
9. Attach handbrake control cable to lever on backing plate and reconnect brake hose to metal pipe.
10. Fill brake fluid reservoir and bleed brake system.
11. Install wheels and lower vehicle. Nuts of rubber bushings must be tightened with vehicle loaded to prevent premature wear.
12. Set wheels straight ahead, then load vehicle to equivalent of four persons plus luggage.
13. Tighten the following components to specifications:
a. Control arm mounting nuts.
b. Control arm pivot pin nuts.
c. Control arm to stub axle bolt.
d. Spring anchors.
