Clutch: Service and Repair
1. Remove transaxle as described under TRANSAXLE.
2. Mark relationship of clutch assembly and flywheel for assembly reference.
3. Remove clutch assembly by gradually loosening and then removing six bolts.
4. If flywheel was removed, tighten mounting bolts to specifications.
5. Ensure clutch and flywheel surfaces are clean and that marks made during disassembly align.
6. With protruding part of disc hub facing away from flywheel, loosely attach clutch assembly on flywheel.
7. Using alignment tool No. A 70210 or equivalent, center disc in pressure plate.
8. Gradually tighten mounting bolts to specifications, then remove tool.
9. Lightly coat transaxle shaft with suitable lubricant, then install transaxle.
