Fault Code 53, Tester Code 37

1. Ensure battery is fully charged and charging system is functioning properly.
2. Inspect battery cables and cable ends, ECU terminals 5 and 18 and engine grounds for corrosion, looseness or damage.
3. Locate ECU behind passenger side of instrument panel. Probe ECU terminal 18 with voltmeter positive lead and terminal 5 with negative lead. Reading should not exceed 16 volts with the engine running.
4. Verify main relay is operational.
