DTC 2: A Problem in the Rear Air Mix Control Linkage, Door, or Motor

1. Test the rear air mix control motor.

Does the rear air mix control motor test OK?

YES - Substitute a known-good rear heater-A/C control panel-unit, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original rear heater-A/C control panel-unit.

NO - Go to step 2.

2. Remove the rear air mix control motor.
3. Check the rear air mix control linkage and door for smooth movement.

Do the rear air mix control linkage and door move smoothly?

YES - Replace the rear air mix control motor.

NO - Repair the rear air mix control linkage and door.
