DTC 13
DTC 11, 13, 15, 17: Low Tire Pressure1. Check whether the tire pressure sensor is mounted on the appropriate tire, and measure the tire pressure.
Is there 176 kPa (1.8 kgf/cm2, 26 psi) or less?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Go to step 4.
2. Check for the cause of air leakage and adjust the tire pressure to the correct pressure to 220 kPa (2.2 kgf/cm2, 32 psi).
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Do the tire pressure indicators go off within one minute ?
YES - The system is OK at this time. Clear the DTC.
NO - Go to step 4.
4. Check the monitor value of the appropriate tire pressure with the HDS.
NOTE: If the response is not shown on the HDS, turn the appropriate tire 1/4 turn with the ignition switch turned OFF, then retry after turning the ignition switch ON (II) again.
Is tire pressure shown on the HDS monitor within 40 kPa (0.4 kgf/cm2, 6 psi) of the actual tire pressure ?
YES - Check for loose wires or poor connections at the TPMS control unit connectors. If necessary, substitute a known-good TPMS control unit and recheck.
NO - Replace the tire pressure sensor.
