AcuraLink Control Unit (XM Receiver) Removal/Installation

With AcuraLink

NOTE: The AcuraLink must be reactivated by Acura Client Services when:

- The AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) is replaced.

- DATA RESET was selected while in the self-diagnostic function.

- Vehicle ownership changes.

1. Remove the door sill and the right kick panel. Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area

2. Remove the glove box. Glove Box Removal/Installation

3. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover. Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation

4. Remove the bolt (A) and loosen the bolt (B) from the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) (C).

5. Disconnect the connectors (D).

6. Release the AM/FM antenna lead from its holder.

7. Lower the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) through the footwell area.

8. Install the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) in the reverse order of removal.
