Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 3-1: TCS Inhibition Diagnosis





TC-/HN: PGM-FI TCS, TCS inhibition/permission/failure signal
TC-STB: TCS PGM-FI, TCS operation start signal
TC-FC: TCS PGM-FI, Fuel cut (torque down) signal
- The PCM outputs the TC-/HN signal to the TCS control unit when the PCM receives the correct TC-STB and TC-FC signals from the TCS control unit.
- The TCS indicator light goes off when the TCS control unit receives the TC-/HN signal.
- The TC-/HN signal becomes low (0 V) when the TC-STB signal or the TC-FC signal fails, then DTC 3-1 is memorized.
- The TC-/HN signal becomes low (0 V) when PGM-FI DTC 3, 5, 6, 15, 35 or 36 is memorized, then TCS DTC 3-1 is memorized.
