DTC 101

DTC 101: Barometric Pressure Sensor

NOTE: If the VSA system indicator and the MIL are both ON, troubleshoot the PGM-FI system first.

1. Verify the DTC.
Is any DTC except DTC 101 indicated?
YES-Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the DTC.
NO-Go to step 2.
2. Clear the DTC.
3. Substitute a known-good VSA control unit.
4. Do the neutral position memorization. Programming and Relearning
5. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the VSA system indicator come on and is DTC 101 indicated?
YES-Replace the PCM.
NO-Replace the VSA control unit.
