Audio disc or tape does not play

1. Try loading a disc or tape.

Does the disc or tape load?

YES - Go to step 2.

NO - Go to disc or tape does not load.

2. Insert another discor tape to see if the symptom can be duplicated.

Does the disc load?

YES - Operation is normal.

NO - Go to step 3.

3. Insert audio diagnostic CD (T/N 07AAZ-SDBA100) or a known-good tape in the audio unit.

Does the disc or tape load?

YES - The original disc is faulty or is an unreadable format.

NO - Replace the audio unit.
