Rear Seat Removal / Installation




Rear Seat Removal/Installation

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the rear seat.

1. While pushing down on the seat cushion (A), pull the seat hook handles (B) to release the hooks (C).






2. Remove the seat cushion (A), and release the center seat belt buckles (B) from their slits (C).





3. Disconnect the seat cushion heater connector (D), if equipped.

4. Release the seat belt (A) from their guides (B).





5. Remove the rear center seat belt and the rear seat belt buckles.

6. Remove the bolts securing the seat-back (A).





7. Disconnect the power head restraint and the seat-back heater connector (B), if equipped.

8. Lift up the seat-back (A) to release the wire loops (B) from the hooks (C) on the body, then remove the seat-back.





9. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Before attaching the rear seat-back and the cushion, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belts.
- When installing the seat cushion, slip the seat belt buckles through the slits in the seat cushion.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
