Resetting the Panoramic Glass Roof Control Unit
Reset the panoramic glass roof after doing any of the following actions:
- The panoramic glass roof was moved manually while the battery was dead or disconnected.
- The panoramic glass roof motor was replaced with a new one.
- Any components related to the panoramic glass roof were replaced or removed and reinstalled.
- Deflector
- Moving glass panel
- Edge protector
- Glass drive assembly
- Power sunshade control unit/motor
To reset the panoramic glass roof control unit, do these steps:
1. Close the driver's door, and leave it closed until the procedure is complete.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
3. Press and hold the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
4. Release the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 four times.
6. Check if the AUTO OPEN function still works. If the function still works, the AUTO function has not been cleared; go back to step 1. If the AUTO function has been cleared, the system enters inch mode until the AUTO function is learned; go to step 7.
7. Press and hold the panoramic glass roof/sunshade open switch for at least 3 additional seconds after the panoramic glass roof is fully opened.
8. Press and hold the panoramic glass roof/sunshade close switch for at least 3 additional seconds after the panoramic glass roof is fully closed (tilted).
9. Confirm that the panoramic glass roof control unit is reset by using the panoramic glass roof AUTO OPEN function.
