DTC 00529 No speed signal

- Connect test box VAG 1598 to the 55-pin plug of transmission wiring harness. Refer to Connecting VAG 1598 Pin Out Box.

- Switch DVOM to measurement range 20 VDC and connect between sockets 3 and 7 on VAG 1598.

- Switch on ignition.

- Must be battery voltage.

- If specified value is not reached, check wire between socket 3 of the transmission control module and contact 3 of the Motronic control module, using wiring diagram.

- If specified value is reached, recall fault memory of Motronic control module. Refer to Powertrain Management / Computers and Control Systems / Testing and Inspection / Procedures / On Board Diagnostics (OBD)
