Transmission Mount: Service and Repair

The following special tools and test equipment are required for this work:
VAG 1383 A - Jack
3282 -Transmission support
3282/19 - Adjustment plate

Note:
If both transmission supports are removed, the transmission must be supported as described. If only one of the transmission supports is removed, it is not necessary to additionally support the transmission.





- Align transmission support 3282 with adjustment plate 3282/19 in order to support transmission 01 V and mount on jack VAG 1383 A.

Notes:
- The symbols on the adjustment plate indicate the mounts required for the automatic transmission 01V; the arrow points indirection of travel.
- The transmission can be supported alternatively with the jack VAG 1383 A and the relevant plate 135912.





- Support transmission from below with jack VAG 1383 A and transmission support 3282.

Note:
The automatic transmission 01 with all-wheel drive is supported at the same locations as the front-wheel drive version.





- Remove shield.
- Remove right transmission support -arrow,





- Remove shield.
- Remove left transmission support -arrow-.
