Check DTC Memory (Function 02)

Check DTC Memory (scan tool function 02)

- Connect Diagnosis and Information System VAS 5051 or V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and select "Transmission Electronics" with address word 02. Ignition must be switched on.





Indicated on display:
- Press buttons -0- and -2- to insert "Check DTC memory"





Indicated on display:
- Press Q button to confirm input.





The display shows the number of stored DTCs or "No DTC found".
The stored DTCs will be displayed and printed in one after the other.
- Press (arrow) button.
- After the last DTC was displayed and printed out, correct malfunctions according to instructions in DTC tables.

- Press (arrow) button.

Notes: After checking DTC memory and correcting DTCs:

- Erase DTC memory.
