1) First check harness connector for corrosion and water ingress, replace if necessary.
2) Pay attention to which hydraulic control the transmission has when selecting measuring value block.

Note: For DTC 17100 / P0716:
^ Requirement for malfunction recognition: A drive mode (D, 4, 3 or 2) is definitely selected, no in- between positions. The engine speed while driving is larger than 608 RPM. The transmission output RPM while driving is larger than 416 RPM.
^ The DTC will be displayed if the conditions for malfunction recognition have been met and the transmission input RPM is 0 RPM or larger than 8000 RPM.
