3) First check harness connectors for corroded terminals or water entry and replace if necessary. If DTCs are displayed, pay particular attention to the 16-pin harness connector at the transmission between the valve body and the wiring harness.

Notes on DTC 17140 / PO756:
^ Short circuit to B+ is already checked with the ignition switched ON. All types of DTCs are recognized during operation.
