5) First check harness connectors for corroded terminals or water entry and replace if necessary.
14) The Throttle Position Sensor and sender for accelerator pedal position -G79-/-G185- are present.

Notes on DTC 18269 / P1861:
^ The signal for throttle position and accelerator pedal position sensors is transmitted by the Engine Control Module (ECM) over the CAN-bus circuit to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
^ Conditions for DTC recognition: The Engine Control Module (ECM) diagnoses the fault in the particular component. This fault diagnosis is transmitted over the CAN-bus circuit to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
