Charge Air Cooler






Charge Air Cooler

Before a test or repair, verify that all hoses and lines are securely installed and not leaking.

Removing

- Bring lock carrier into service position. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier, Moving into Service Position ] Lock Carrier, Moving Into Service Position.

- Remove the hose clamps - 1 - and - 2 - and disconnect the air guide hoses.





CAUTION!
The air conditioning refrigerant circuit must not be opened.

- Unhook refrigerant line - 4 - from bracket.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 - for the Charge Air Pressure Sensor/Intake Air Temperature Sensor.

- Unhook the charge air cooler upward and out.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Hose connections and charge air system hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

- Install lock carrier with attachments. Refer to =>

- Place the torque support stop on the rubber buffer and tighten the nuts - arrows -.





- Install front bumper cover.

- Check headlamp adjustment.
