Oil Pan

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip tray (VAG1306)

Removing

- Remove noise insulation panel - arrows -.





- Place drip tray (VAG1306) under transmission.

- Remove ATF drain plug (arrow) and drain ATF.





- Loosen oil pan bolts diagonally and remove oil pan.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Clean all 4 magnets in oil pan recesses. Ensure full surface contact of the magnets on the oil pan.

- Replace gaskets.

• Drain plug and oil seal must both be replaced.

- Fill up ATF. Refer to => [ ATF, Changing or Filling after Repairs ] [1][2]ATF, Changing or Filling After Repairs.
