• Lubricate bearing areas and slide surfaces with polycarbamide grease G 052 142 A2.

2 Shaft piece for selector lever

• Removing and installing selector lever knob, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle

3 Selector lever handle

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle

4 Cover

• With selector scale and Tiptronic gate and selector lever lock indicator

• Removing and installing Tiptronic switch (F189 )=> [ Tiptronic Switch ] Tiptronic Switch and additionally unclipping cover

5 Symbol insert

• Clipped in cover

6 Printed circuit board

• With integrated Tiptronic Switch (F189)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tiptronic Switch ] Tiptronic Switch

• If malfunctioning, start by checking whether solenoid is correctly fixed on transverse slide of louver => [ (Item 7) Masking panel ] , replace louvre with guide if necessary.

7 Masking panel

• Only available together with => [ (Item 8) Guide ]

• With solenoid for Tiptronic switch (F189) on reverse slide

• Removing and installing Tiptronic Switch (F189 ), refer to => [ Tiptronic Switch ] Tiptronic Switch

8 Guide

• For masking panel

• Separate both halves by applying careful levering movements
