Upper A-Pillar Trim

1 - Upper A-pillar trim

• Removing

- Remove sun visor => [ Sun Visor ] Service and Repair.

- Remove roof grab handle => [ Roof Grab Handle ]. Roof Grab Handle

- Loosen D-pillar trim and fold D-pillar trim aside.

- Remove screw - 4 -.

- Unclip upper A-pillar trim - 1 - out of clips - 2 - (Qty. 2).

- Pull out upper A-pillar trim - 1 - toward rear out of retainer - 3 -.

• Installing

CAUTION!
Always follow installation sequence for A-pillar trim.

- Guide upper A-pillar trim - 1 - toward front between door rubber and side plate.

- Guide trim retainer - 3 - into the proper clip.

- Clip upper A-pillar trim - 1 - firmly with both clips - 2 - (Qty. 2).

- Install bolt - 4 -.

CAUTION!
Ensure trim is held securely.

- Make sure that door rubber is pulled cleanly over upper A-pillar trim.

2 - Clips (Qty. 2)

3 - Retainer

4 - Screw

• Tightening torque: 4 Nm

• self-locking

• replace

• Always clean threaded holes for bolts (e.g. using a thread cutter)
