Rear Lid Hinge

Removing

- Pull cover -1- from lid hinge - 2 -.






- Unclip roof frame trim - 1 - on outside.






- Unclip trim - 2 - from clips - 3 - and remove them.

- Remove the D-pillar trim.

• To prevent damage to paint, support and secure rear lid.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.






Lid Hinge





- Pull off gas-filled strut at hinge-side ball head pin.

- Remove ball stud - 1 -, hex bolt - 2 - and hex nut - 5 -.

- Replace seal - 4 - when reinstalling hinge.

- When installing, tighten ball stud, hex bolt and hex nut to 21 Nm.

- Adjust the rear lid. Refer to => [ Rear Lid, Adjusting ] Adjustments.
