Intake Manifold Lower Section

• All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

- Remove upper part of intake manifold => [ Intake Manifold Upper Section ] Multiport Fuel Injection.

- Separate electrical connections at fuel injectors, thereby pressing release tabs down and then inward - arrow -.





- Remove bolts for fuel rail - 1 -.





- Remove intake manifold lower part - 2 -.

- Pull intake manifold lower part with fuel rail upward and off, with fuel hoses remaining connected.

• Plug the intake ports of the cylinder head with clean rags.

Installing

Perform installation in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

• Replace gaskets, seals and O-rings.

- Press nubs of intake manifold lower part gasket into holes on cylinder heads.

- Install intake manifold lower part together with fuel rail.

- Install intake manifold upper part => [ Intake Manifold Upper Section ] Multiport Fuel Injection.
