Intake Flap Motor with Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor

For installation location of the intake flap motor (V157). Refer to => [ Intake Manifold Assembly Overview ] Intake Manifold Assembly Overview.

Removing

- Remove engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Remove coolant expansion tank - arrow -.





- Open the open hose clamp on the charge air hose - 2 - and remove the hose from the throttle valve control module ( J338).





- Remove bolt - 1 - from coolant pipe.





- Open cable ties on the wiring harness on the coolant pipe.

- Remove bracket - arrows - from coolant pipe.





- Carefully pry off linkage from Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 4 -.

- Disconnect all necessary electrical connectors and press coolant pipe far enough to the side so the intake flap motor (V157 ) bolts can be accessed.

- Remove Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 5 -.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order.
