Front Suspension
Air Spring Damper Boot, Correcting Pressure Points
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Compressed air gun (commercially available)
• Cloths
• The illustration shows the rear air spring damper. The procedure is the same on the front and rear.
- Lay cloths - 1 - under the lower connection point and blow compressed air through a ventilation slit - arrow A - using the compressed air gun (narrow nozzle) - 2 -.
• Increase the pressure only until the boot inflates slightly. This presses the indentations - B arrows - outward.
- If the indentations are not pressed out, press them out by hand. Slide the boot upward out of the lower retainer if necessary.
