11 Fuel supply hose
Burn risk due to escaping fuel.
• Because the transfer Fuel Pump (FP) (G6) runs briefly when the battery is connected and the driver's door is opened, the voltage supply to the (G6) must be disconnected when the fuel system is open.
• Remove transfer Fuel Pump (FP) (G6) fuse from fuse holder at left in E-box plenum chamber.
• Loosening and tightening => [ Loosening and Tightening Fuel Supply Line Union
Nut ]
12 High pressure fuel line
There is a risk of injury because the fuel is under very high pressure.
• Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure.
• Reduce fuel pressure in high pressure area => [ Releasing Fuel Pressure on High Pressure Side ] Service Precautions.
• counter hold to loosen and tighten union nut on high pressure pump connecting pieces
• Tighten connecting pieces on high pressure pump before installing
• Do not install when under tension
• First tighten union nuts by hand
• 22 Nm
13 Low pressure fuel line
• Counter hold to loosen and tighten union nut on high pressure pump connecting pieces
• Tighten connecting pieces on high pressure pump before installing
• Do not install when under tension
• First tighten union nuts by hand
• 27 Nm
14 O-ring
