Fresh Air Blower Control Module






Fresh Air Blower Control Module

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove the air intake unit, refer to => [ Air Intake Unit ] Air Intake Unit.

- Remove the air intake unit upper cover, refer to => [ Air Intake Unit Upper Cover ] Air Intake Unit Upper Cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors - A - and - B -.





- Remove bolts - C -.

CAUTION!
The heat sink on the fresh air blower control module may be hot.

- Remove Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) - D -.

Installing

To installed, perform the steps done during removal in reverse order. Note the following:

- Install the fresh air blower control module - D -.

- Tighten the bolts - C - by hand (10 Ncm).

- Connect the electrical connectors - A - (to the Fresh Air Blower (V2)) and - B -.

- Before installing the air intake unit upper cover, make sure the electrical connectors - A - and - B - are seated correctly and the wiring harness is routed correctly.

- Install the air intake unit, refer to => [ Air Intake Unit ] Air Intake Unit.

After finishing the repairs, perform the following work on the Climatronic Control Module (J255) using Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051/ in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Check the DTC memory and erase any malfunctions shown.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode.
