Removing


Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

- Remove front seat:

• Manual seat, refer to => [ Front Manual Seat ] Front Manual Seat

• Power seat, refer to => [ Power Seat ] Power Seat

• Bucket seats, refer to => [ Seat ] Seat

- Secure the seat on the (VAS 6136). Refer to => [ Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136 ] Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136.

- If present, disconnect connector (black) under seat not shown in illustration for belt fastened detection warning tone.





- Remove the bolt - 2 -.

- Remove seat belt latch - 1 -.

Installation


Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

- Replace the seat belt latch bolt.

• Note that there are different tightening specifications depending on the seat version.
