Disconnecting Selector Lever Boot from the Selector Lever Handle

Removing






- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Removal and Replacement.

- Bind the selector lever handle spring tabs - 1 - together with cable ties - 3 -, as shown in the illustration.

- Slide the selector lever boot sleeve - 2 - over the tabs on the spring tab - arrow -.

- Remove the cable ties and the selector lever boot and sleeve from the selector lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Installed position of the selector lever boot:

• The longer side of the selector lever boot frame faces the driver side.

- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Removal and Replacement.
