Leak Detection Pump
Removing
• All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.
- Remove left rear wheel.
- Remove rear left wheel housing liner.
- Remove ventilation hose - 1 -.
- Remove nuts - arrows -.
- Disengage diagnostic pump with bracket.
- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 3 - with ignition switched off and free up wire - arrow -.
- Cut the cable ties - 1 - and disconnect the hose - 2 -.
Installing
• Assembly overview, refer to => [ EVAP Canister System/Leak Detection System Assembly Overview ] Service and Repair.
• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fuel Supply System - Fastener Tightening Specifications.
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:
• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.
• During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.
- Secure hose - 2 - to bracket of leak detection pump with cable tie - 1 -.
