The microphone unit in front roof module (R164) in installed in the front interior lamp (W1). Depending on the equipment, there are up to three microphones installed.

One microphone (interior microphone (R74)) is connected directly to the digital sound system control module (J525).

1. Microphone (blue) to the Interior monitoring transceiver module 1 (G303)

2. information electronics control module 1 (J794)

3. Microphone (black) to the information electronics control module 1 (J794)

4. Interior microphone (black) for the digital sound system control module (only on BOSE)

5. Blue 6-pin connector (T6c)

Left-hand drive vehicles:

1. Left front microphone (R140) (black)

2. Connector, 6-pin (T6c) blue, pins 1 and 2: left front microphone (black), pins 3 and 4: interior microphone (black), pins 5 and 6: right front microphone (blue)

3. Interior microphone (black)

4. Right front microphone (R141) (blue)
