Right Vent Temperature Sensor






Right Vent Temperature Sensor

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove glove box.

- Remove right lower center console cover.

- On the right side remove the holder for the instrument panel - A - and the screws - C -.





- Remove the air duct to the front passenger's footwell vent - B -.

- Mark connector - A - to the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) (danger of interchange with other connectors of same construction).





- Disconnect connector - A - from the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151).

- Rotate the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) - B - approximately 90° in direction of arrow.

- Remove the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) - B - from the A/C unit.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following.

- Insert the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) - B - on the proper side into A/C unit mount - D -.





- Check the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) for correct seating in mount - D -.

The Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) - B - can only be inserted into mount - D - in one position, rotate 180° if necessary).

An O-ring seal - C - can be installed so that the Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) fits without play in mount - D -.

- Install the removed components again in reverse order.

- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if necessary.
