Right Intake Manifold Side

- Carefully pull engine cover upward and off at rear - arrows 1 -.





- Pull engine cover forward and off of intake manifold - arrows 2 -.

- Separate electrical connector - 1 - for Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (-G70-).





- Disconnect air duct hose - 4 - at intake manifold.

- Unhook retainer for connections - 2 - and - 3 - at upper part of air filter housing.

- Remove bolts - arrows -.

- Remove upper part of right air filter housing.

- Pull off vacuum hose - 4 - from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve (-N80-).





• Ignore - 1 to 3 - in the illustration.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 6 - at Throttle valve control module (-J338-).





- Disconnect vacuum hose - 1 -.

- Pull off hoses - 4 - and - 5 - for crankcase breather.

- Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Remove right intake manifold side part.

Installing

Perform installation in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Replace gaskets and O-rings.

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.
