Transmission, Securing to Assembly Stand

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook and Support Tool (3311) with bolt (3311/1)

• Holding Fixture (VW 313)

• Holding Plate (VW 309)

• Shop Crane (VAS 6100) or (V.A.G 1202 A)

Procedure

• Transmission removed.


• Exchange the bolt on the (3311) for a new, longer (3311/1).

• The new (3311/1) is longer. Only this way can the transmission be secured.

- Secure transmission to (3311) (using new, longer (3311/1)) and to (VW 309).





- Insert into the (VW 313) using the shop crane.

• If the filled transmission is turned upside down with the oil pan facing upward, the vents for transmission housing and final drive must be closed off.
