Right Flange Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Piece (T40163)

• Assembly Lever

• Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1)

Procedure

- Remove right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft ] Right Flange Shaft.

- Pry out the flange shaft sealing ring - arrow -.





- Lightly oil outer circumference of new shaft seal.

- Install the shaft seal for the right flange shaft using the Thrust Piece (T40163) all the way; when doing this, do not bend it.





- Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1).

- Install right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft ] Right Flange Shaft.
