Selector Mechanism Overview
There is a risk of injury and accident from accidentally engaging a gear when the engine is running.
• Before working on a running engine, move the selector lever to "P" and push the parking brake button in order to lock the electromechanical parking brake.

9 Selector Mechanism Function Unit
• Can only be replaced as a unit

10 Shift Lock Solenoid (N110)
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) ] 0B6A Automatic Transmission
11 Transmission Park Selector Switch (F305)
• Consists of two microswitches on the circuit board on the shift lock solenoid
• Can only be replaced together with the shift lock solenoid, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) ] 0B6A Automatic Transmission
12 Noise Insulation
• Not on all vehicles; for the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)
13 Lock Washers
• Replace
• Quantity: 4
• For securing the noise insulation to the shift mechanism function unit
14 Retaining Clip
• Secures selector lever cable on selector mechanism function unit
15 O-ring
• Replace
16 Selector Lever Cable
• Do not bend
