Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module with Tiptronic Switch

• The selector lever sensor system control module (J587) and the Tiptronic switch (F189) are a single component.

• Tiptronic switch (F189) magnets are secured in the cover.

Removing





- Remove the knob on the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Knob ] Selector Lever Knob.

- Remove the selector lever transmission range position display unit (Y26). Refer to => [ Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit ] Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit.

- Remove the frame with the multimedia system control head (E380) - 1 -.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the selector lever sensor system control module together with the Tiptronic switch.

Installing

Install in reverse order, pay attention to the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Overview ] Selector Mechanism Overview.

- Install the frame with the multimedia system control head - 1 -.

- Install the knob on the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Knob ] Selector Lever Knob.

- Install the selector lever transmission range position display unit. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit ] Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit.
