Removing

- Remove selector lever handle => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

- Remove Selector Lever Transmission Range (TR) Position Display (Y26) => [ Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display ] Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display

- Remove installation frame with Multimedia Control Head (E380) - 1 -.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.





- Remove screws - arrows - and remove Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Torque specifications: => [ Selector Mechanism, Assembly Overview ] Selector Mechanism, Assembly Overview

- Guide Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189) over selector mechanism function unit and tighten screws - arrows - to specified torque.





- Connect connector - 1 - to Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189).

- Install installation frame with Multimedia Control Head (E380) - 1 -.

- Install selector lever handle => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

- Install Selector Lever Transmission Range (TR) Position Display (Y26) => [ Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display ] Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display
