Intake Flap Vacuum Actuator

Removing

- Remove intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

- Disconnect vacuum hose - 1 -.





- Press the mounting pins - arrow - back out of the actuator rod.

- Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 - and the vacuum actuator.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Press the mounting pins - 2 - into the actuator rod - 1 - from behind.





- Ensure the rounded area - area - on the head of the mounting pin engages in the opening on the actuator rod.
