Camshaft Position Sensor

- Disconnect the electrical connector on the respective camshaft position sensor.

9 Camshaft position sensor 3 (G300)

- Remove the heat shield - 1 - to remove the camshaft position sensor 3.





- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

1 Camshaft position sensor 2 (G163)
11 Camshaft position sensor 4 (G301)

- Remove the heat shield - 1 - to remove the camshaft position sensor 4.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.





Installing

• Replace the O-ring if damaged

- Coat the O-ring with clean engine oil and carefully press the camshaft position sensor in by hand.

- Tighten the camshaft position sensor and connect the electrical connector.

- Install the heat shield.
