Front A/C Control Head Climatronic Control Module

Removing

- Check the Climatronic Control Module (J255) front A/C control head coding and adaptation with the "Replace Control Unit" function in Guided Fault Finding if the Climatronic Control Module (J255) front A/C control head will be replaced vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove trim for front center instrument panel section and the ashtray.

- Remove two bolts - A -.





- Remove front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) from center console.

- Disengage catches of connector - E - by pressing retaining tabs - G - and disconnect this connector.





- Wait 30 seconds to protect electronics in front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255)).

- Disengage catches of connectors - A - to - D - by pressing retaining tabs - G - and disconnect them.

- Disengage connector - F - and disconnect it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if necessary Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

- Perform the basic setting, coding, adaptation and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function
