Secondary Injection Combination Valve, Checking for Function and Leaks
Procedure
• Vacuum lines and hose connections free of leaks.
• Vacuum lines not plugged.
- Disconnect the hose - arrow - and connect assisting hose into the hose leading to the secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve.
- Blow lightly into assisting hose by mouth, do not use compressed air.
• Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve must be closed, it must not be possible to blow through.
- Blow more strongly into assisting hose by mouth, do not use compressed air.
• The Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve must open, it must be possible to blow through.
- If the switch point cannot be detected, replace secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve. Refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve ] Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve.
