Hazard Alarm Control Module, Audi A6 Security

Removing

- Open the flap and remove the screws - arrows -.





- Remove the Com box - 1 - from the luggage compartment.

- Remove luggage compartment left side trim.

- Remove the bracket for the control modules.

• Electrical connectors remain connected.

CAUTION!
The hazard alarm control module (J476) will be destroyed if its connectors are disconnected while the battery is connected.

- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Mark the wires - 1, 4 and 5 -.





- Disconnect the wires - 1 through 5 -.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.





- Remove the hazard alarm control module - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
