Selector Lever Lock Solenoid

Removing

- Place the selector lever in the "P" position.

- Remove the front and rear center consoles.

- Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the shift lock solenoid (N110).





- Press the retaining hook - A - into the selector mechanism - arrow - and hold it down.

Replace the shift mechanism if a retaining hook - A - is broken off.

- Tip the shift lock solenoid (N110) down and out in the - direction of the arrow - so that the ball head - 1 - disengages from the operating lever on the shift mechanism.





- Remove the shift lock solenoid (N110).

Installing

Install in the reverse order, paying attention to the following:

- Rotate the ball head - 1 - to the correct installation position.

- Guide the shift lock solenoid (N110) diagonally from above into the shift mechanism.

- Tip the shift lock solenoid (N110) down in the opposite - direction of the arrow -.

- The ball head - 1 - must engage completely in the operating lever on the shift mechanism. Press it down using a small screwdriver if necessary.





- Secure the shift lock solenoid (N110) on the retaining hook - A -.

- Attach all electrical connectors.

- Before further reassembly, check the shift mechanism function. Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Checking ] Procedures.

- Install the front and rear center consoles.
