ATF, Draining for ATF Flush

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Triple Square Socket Driver (3357)

• Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782)

• The vehicle must be horizontal.

• Follow all disposal regulations!

• Before a vehicle with air suspension can be driven onto a hoist, this means all four wheels are in the air, the vehicle lift mode must be activated.

- Loosen the fasteners - 2 - and - 3 - remove the rear noise insulation - B -.





• There are different versions of the noise insulation.

- Place the (V.A.G 1782) under the transmission.

- Remove the ATF oil drain plug - A - with the (3357) and drain the ATF.





- Tighten the ATF drain plug again.

• Tightening Specifications: 24 Nm.


Do not let the engine run or tow the vehicle without ATF.
