Rearview Camera System Control Module (J772)

The rearview camera system control module is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the right luggage compartment trim panel.

The rearview camera system control module - 3 - is wedged into the bracket - 2 -.






Remove the Comfort System Central Control Module (J393) - 1 - first, and then the bracket - 2 -.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and nuts - 5 -.

- Remove the bracket - 2 - from the storage compartment in order to disconnect the connectors - 3 - and - 4 -.






- Unclip the rearview camera system control module out of the bracket - 2 - and remove it upward.

- Unlock and disconnect the connector from the rearview camera system control module.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Perform a calibration, refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Testing and Inspection.
