Rear Lid Trim







Rear Lid Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry Lever - RMV Outside Mirror (80 - 200)

Removing

- Remove the warning triangle bracket. Refer to => [ Warning Triangle Bracket ] Warning Triangle Bracket.

- Remove the rear lid lock trim. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel ] Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel.

Vehicles with an Emergency Release Inside the Luggage Compartment:






- Unclip cover - 1 - on operating lever - 2 -.

- Disengage actuating link nipple - 3 - on operating lever.

- Remove screw behind operating lever.

All vehicles:






- Unclip the stop rails using a screwdriver.

- Remove the bolt - 2 -.

- Pry rear lid trim - 1 - out using a pry lever (80 - 200) - arrows -.

- Disengage the rear lid trim at the hinges and remove it.

Vehicles with an Emergency Release Inside the Luggage Compartment:

- Disengage rear housing on operating lever handle recess.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If the trim clamps remain in the rear lid mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Position the rear lid trim and push on it until it engages audibly.
