Special Purpose Vehicle Control Module

Removing





- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Open the right luggage compartment side trim cover.

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and lay aside the retaining frame - 1 - with the comfort system central control module (J393).

- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and tilt the electronic damping control module (J250) - item 1 - out of the retaining frame.





- Remove the bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and the nut - 4 -.





- Tilt the retaining frame - 3 - with control modules to the side.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors at the control modules in the retaining frame.

- Remove the retaining frame with control modules.

- Press the retaining clip - 1 - in the - direction of arrow A - and tilt the special purpose vehicle control module (J608) - item 2 - in the - direction of the arrow B - out of the retaining frame - 3 -.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Connect battery. Required actions => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
