Relay Panel Mount Under Instrument Panel, Left Side

Removing






- Remove the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- Remove the headlamp range control module. Refer to => [ Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J431) ] Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J431).

- Remove the left instrument panel vent..

- Slide the extension - 2 - from the socket set between the air duct - 3 - and the instrument panel.

- Remove the nuts - 4 and 5 -.

- Remove the mount - 6 - from the threaded pins.

- Disengage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount at the side guide in the A-pillar - arrow - while pulling the mount toward the passenger compartment.

- Release the tabs - 3 - - arrow A - and disengage the mount for the headlamp range control module - 1 - from the mount - 2 - - arrow B -.






Installing






• Tightening specification, refer to=> [ Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel in Instrument Panel and A-Pillar Overview ] Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel In Instrument Panel and A-Pillar Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount - 3 - at the side guide in the A-pillar - arrow -.

- Tighten the nuts - 2 -.

- Install the headlamp range control module. Refer to => [ Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J431) ] Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J431).

- Install the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- Install the left instrument panel vent..
